Hi, I’m _^Amira!

I’m Amira and I was born and raised in the tropical, sunny Singapore, the little red dot on the world map. In 2018, I packed my backpack and moved abroad to the land Down Under🇦🇺 on a working holiday visa. Now based in Singapore, Im on my next big adventure yet – travelling the world full-time as a cabin crew! 🌍

It all started when I embarked on a reforestation project (Youth Expedition Project) with my university mates in Borneo for two weeks during my very first undergraduate year. It was such an enriching and unforgettable journey that since then, I decided to study abroad in East Asia (2014) for two months during Ramadhan and Syawal, live in Europe (2015) for two months during summer break, and also Sri Lanka (2017) for six weeks. And for the latter three journeys, I was in the land where not even a single soul knew me! Somehow I liked the fact that I didn’t know anyone and nobody knew me, and that is how I get to meet so many new and amazing travellers turned into friends! And I’m glad we still keep in contact with each other even though we are literally miles apart!

This travel and lifestyle blog is a little project of mine that started in 2017. I’ve always had mini blogs and Tumblr sites through my early teenage years, and in 2015, I started to become a freelance writer for a couple of foodie and travel sites, and I write because I love it. 💕 I will probably write a book/e-book one day! (Maybe an NZ or Australia Ultimate Working Holiday Guide, or something Cabin Crew related). And I hope that my stories, guides and tips will continue to help you travellers out there, and to inspire YOU to see the world!
