10 Best Hotels in Singapore with Halal Buffet Restaurants For Your Next Staycation in 2021

While we aren’t able to go for a vacation abroad right now, having a fun staycation within Singapore is probably the closest that you can get to a getaway. Local hotels seem to have caught on your wanderlust for an escape. Plus they often have attractive discounts and all-inclusive packages for you! But one question that will always pop up in your mind when you book a hotel room is, “will the breakfast buffet be halal?” If the staycay package that we book has a breakfast included but you are concerned that it isn’t halal, then it’d feel like a waste, wouldn’t it? That’s why I’ve scoured the island and curated a list of 10 best halal hotels in Singapore with halal breakfast so you can take your 2021 staycay up a notch without worry!

If your travel plans for 2020 were disrupted, don’t let those travel restrictions bring you down.  Since Phase 2, more hotels are allowed. Moreover with Phase 3 in, we can have up to 8 at any one time for a cosy gathering! Some of these hotels also come with prayer rooms and qibla markings, or even located near mosques. Let’s plan some staycay ideas here in Singapore with your family or friends during those long weekend holidays!

#ASingaporeanAbroad Tip: You know, you could even call the Front Desk or drop an email to the hotel to confirm or request if they have a halal breakfast package as well! Otherwise, if you really want to stay in a particular hotel, there are plenty of halal cafes and restaurants wherever you go in Singapore, or simply order Foodpanda or Grabfood delivery!

1 Grand Hyatt Singapore – Straits Kitchen

Credit: Grand Hyatt

Situated right smack in the middle of action along the bustling Orchard Road is the green getaway, Grand Hyatt Singapore. Once you step in this gorgeous hotel, you might not want to step out – with plenty of green spaces, waterfalls, fitness lessons, award-winning spas, and a halal restaurant within the hotel. The pool is also breathtakingly gorgeous. Surrounded by waterfalls and thoughtfully decorated with aquamarine pebbles, their large pool is a delight to chill on the lounge chairs, or swim in at the end of the day. With wellness at the core, I could find respite and calmness although I was staying along one of Singapore’s busiest shopping districts. If you are a shopaholic, then you can be a tourist in your own country while shopping at Orchard. 😉

I stayed there using their attractive staycay promo at $250++, with complimentary daily breakfast (for 2 Adults) in Straits Kitchen, their halal in-house restaurant, including a free upgrade in the promotion, as well as a $20 F&B/room service discount. Definitely had a pleasant stay with exceptional service! We had to book time slots for the pool but not needed after 7PM and on weekdays. It could have changed so best to check that if you’re keen on using the pool!
